Bike Ride: Scenic Rural CO Roads

June 6, 2012

Dulcie and I (and Sylvie and Isaac) have been doing a Wednesday morning weekly bike ride for awhile now.  Dulcie is usually the one taking photos, but I was especially excited about the potential beauty of this week’s trip so I brought my camera along too.  I was not disappointed!

Our ride started in lovely & rural Hygiene, Colorado. First we headed straight west, towards the big mountains:

Everything is green and blue.

Then we turned south to tackle some hilly dirt roads!

Sunflower silo.

Peaceful cows living a pretty great life.

Water & potty stop at a roadside farm stand.

Running up and down a ramp to get some energy out.

Empty dirt roads and blue skies.  Horse, cow, prairie dog, and osprey sightings.  Living in Colorado makes me feel like I’m on vacation all the time!

Looks like vacation land. Love the sunflower silo. Those hills make my thighs ache for you. So pretty.
