Rabbit Mountain with Dad

October 10, 2011

When my dad was visiting last week, we dragged him away from his work on the bubbles to do a little afternoon hike at Rabbit Mountain.  We love Rabbit Mountain because it’s pretty and baby-friendly.  It qualifies as baby-friendly because it is just 20 min drive from our house (and that means we can keep Isaac awake in the car on the way home, thus avoiding ruining his nap).  It also has nice smooth dirt paths that we can push our sporty red stroller on.

When we started up, Jamie did short wind sprints with Isaac – up and down, up and down.  Isaac thought it was very fun.

Then Jamie collapsed (almost).

Then I tried to do a wind sprint, but I won’t show you those embarrassing pictures.

Here comes Dad!

We made it to the top, so Isaac was allowed to get out of his stroller.

Isaac says “What’s in there??”

Next we did some rock throwing, of course.  That’s the other thing Rabbit Mountain is good for.

Can you spot the prairie dog in this picture?  I think they’re so cute and funny!

Issac has very good form and mechanics when throwing. He will be a very good baseball pitcher some day. “Hey batter, batter, batter!” They won’t stand a chance.

    Peace & Love
