Superhero Capes

March 28, 2011

Dad sent me a bunch of cool stuff from toy fair this year.  Pretty fun that there is finally a kid in the family to enjoy the bounty from toy fair!

One of the highlights is the selection of Putamayo Kids CDs – basically a selection of world music that’s appropriate for kids.  Songs with fun lyrics, peppy and upbeat, etc.  It’s all really good music – not that awful grating sing-song stuff you usually think of when you think “kids music”.  We LOVE these CDs.  They’re definitely something I’d go out and buy if we hadn’t gotten them for free…and knowing me, that’s really saying something Smile

So far our top favorites are the New Orleans, African, and Latin American CDs.

Dad also sent us three super hero capes.  The other day when Henry and Sylvie were over we had some fun with the capes.

Isaac wore his cape while riding his horse:

Then we tried to get all three toddlers to wear the capes at the same time and twirl in circles.  We sort of succeeded.
