Yesterday we found out that someone else has put in a bid on our dream farmette.  They’ve actually been going back and forth with the bank, and the seller’s agent tells us he thinks they’re about to accept the bank’s latest offer.  Now that he knows we’re interested, he is probably using it to close the deal with them.  Shoot!  So…dream farmette may not happen.  Stay tuned…

We got cold feet for a moment today so we haven’t made an offer yet. We’re going to sleep on it and decide what to do tomorrow…

competition, huh… we were getting all excited for you three to turn that place into your palace! mainly for selfish reasons 😉 the area looks beautiful. if the deal on this place falls through maybe you could just buy a plot of land and build a house yourself?!?!?! my dream is to build one of these suckers –

anyways, glad to see the three of you looking well and having fun. if you want to escape the cold we’ve got a bed for you in sydney!

Taisuke we really hope you build an earthship some day! After you guys told us about them (when we saw you in NZ) we read all about them – such a cool idea. That land we were/are looking at is on a south / west facing hill which would be perfect for an earthship. I just don’t want to be the one that has to pound dirt into old tires with a jackhammer. UGH! Hope you guys are enjoying Sydney, maybe we will be able to visit you sometime!
