More San Fran Doings

October 19, 2010

Other than the visits to Half Moon Bay & Pacifica beaches, we spent most of our time in the city.  Isaac woke up waaaay before Henry each morning, so he & I went for an early morning walk through the city each day.   San Fran is SO hilly which we loved.  We got to see views like this all the time!

Here’s another pic of Jamie holding Henry while Isaac investigates the area.

Jenny tried her hand at bouncing an older baby.  We had fun trying to get Isaac’s hair to floof as high as possible on each bounce.

I bounced Henry one evening.  The bouncy ball got a lot of use, obviously!

Jamie and I had a lot of fun going out to dinner with Brian one night.  We even found a nice place with high chairs, so Isaac was able to attend as well!

We tested out yet another park with Henry and Isaac on another day.  Henry enjoyed his first see-saw ride.

Here he is, feeling very powerful on his very own see-saw seat across from his mother!

Brandon made sure he didn’t topple off!

The see-saw must have been exhausting because he passed out shortly afterwards.

The next day we visited a famous San Fran bakery to load up on croissants, then took them to the park for a picnic.San Fran Park 119

Isaac giggles as he spits out a pastry.  The nerve!

Another highlight was that I got to meet up with a good friend of mine, from Seattle, for lunch one day!  We worked together in Seattle in 2002 and have kept in touch for 8 years.  Wow, I didn’t realize it’d been THAT long!  She’s been in San Fran for 5 or 6 years now.  Isaac and I rode the train downtown to meet her for lunch, which was SO fun!
