Work Day

July 24, 2010

Today Jamie and Stephen took Isaac to the Denver Art Museum to visit the King Tut exhibit.  Isaac’s favorite part of the day was not the museum.  Instead, he enjoyed the grassy lawn outside the museum, the fountains spouting water, and the tortilla pieces Jamie gave him from his burrito at the original Chipotle.

I had most of the day to myself – it was wonderful!  I worked on Rocware a lot, and also made more progress on getting settled into the new house.  We have now acquired a bed, dresser, kitchen table, 3 chairs, TV table, coffee table, bedside tables, and outdoor patio table.  All at garage sales, and all for $95.  Not bad!  Now all we are missing is a couch…

I count eleven pieces of furniture for $95 or an average of $8.64 each. I bet you had fun too. Well done!
